Planning an outside wedding wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. It wasn’t as expensive as an indoor wedding would have been. Since we had the beauty of nature all around us, it wasn’t too expensive to decorate. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. Instead of having our wedding ceremony and reception on the beach or in a garden, I chose to have it in the park. I found there were several great locations that would work out perfectly for an outdoor wedding.

I decided to go online and get some expert advice on how to plan the perfect outdoor wedding. If you’re going to have your ceremony outside, it’s a good idea to have an alternative plan just in case the weather turns on you. So we arranged to have a tent set up to move the ceremony into if necessary, just as a precaution.

We had canopies arranged for our reception and barring bad weather, planned to be wed under a lovely trellis. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful,they looked like the real deal. Planning this wedding wasn’t all that hard, but there was a little more than I expected. Even though some summer wedding favors are fantastic, the heat can totally destroy your gorgeous wedding cake.

I found quite a few terrific accessories that I could use for the reception. As centerpieces for our reception tables I used citronella votive candles and place them in glass globes with flowers around them, and used park bench place card holders for each guest. The chrome bottle openers we bought for our guests were packaged in beautiful favors boxes and given out as a summer favor. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.

I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They do customizing for the bride and groom. They put our faces on our cake topper, and all I had to do was send them a photo of me and my fiance. Talk about the best wedding keepsake you can get. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. You wouldn’t believe all the nice accessories you can buy online.

It was the perfect wedding and reception, just like I had hoped for. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. The DJ we hired was really exceptional and I’m sure that the music played on long after my new husband and I left for our honeymoon. There were many good comments about our beautiful wedding ceremony and fun filled reception party we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. Everything I ordered for our ceremony and reception was the best in wedding accessories, especially our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. A lot of good things were said about our wedding ceremony and everyone said they had a fantastic time at the reception. I couldn’t have picked a better place than the park for our wedding ceremony and reception party. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.
